Rock Cats Announce Broadcast Partners

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT- The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced that for the fourth consecutive season Fox Sports Radio 1410 AM will serve as its flagship radio station. The Hartford radio outlet will broadcast all 142 games live, home and road, beginning with tonight's season opener in New Hampshire. Rock Cats games will also be streamed on-line also on www.foxsportsradio1410.com . In addition to the radio broadcast, CPTV Sports will televise 12 home games live during the 2015 season. CPTV Sports is Connecticut's only 24-hour local sports network broadcasting Connecticut high school, college and professional sports and is available on most cable companies.
The voice of the Rock Cats Jeff Dooley returns for his 18th season as the lead play-by-play announcer on radio and television. Dooley is the longest tenured broadcaster in the Eastern League. The past two seasons, his play-by-play highlights were featured on ESPN's SportsCenter and have aired nationally on The Mike & Mike Show. He was also selected to broadcast a regional telecast on Fox Sports North. Dooley will be joined in the booth this season by broadcast veteran Dan Lovallo. Dooley and Lovallo will team up for the televised games on CPTV Sports. Lovallo returns to the Rock Cats broadcast booth on a regular basis after being part of the radio team from 2000 through 2008 and working select Rock Cats broadcasts the last two seasons. He has an extensive background in broadcasting and hosted a local popular talk show for six years. Lovallo also serves as the radio voice of the Manchester Road Race.
The radio partnership with i-Heart Media-Hartford will also give the Rock Cats a promotional platform on the entire family of stations including ESPN Radio 97.9 FM WUCS and the Rob Dibble Show. The ESPN and Fox Sports format will brand the Rock Cats with national shows such as Mike & Mike, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Scott Van Pelt & Ryen Russill and The Dan Patrick Show.
