35,000 Tickets Sold for the Final Versus América
April 9, 2015 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that more than 35,000 tickets have already been sold for the Champions League final matchup, just over 24 hours after the start of ticket sales.
The Bleu-blanc-noir will face Mexican club América on Wednesday, April 29 at 8pm, at Olympic Stadium. On the line will be the title of CONCACAF champions and a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The lower bowl of the stadium is already full, but tickets remain in the upper levels. Excellent seats in the 400 sections are available at a cost of just $25 (taxes and fees included).
"The rate of sales for this game is a first for the club," explained Richard Legendre, executive vice-president of the Montreal Impact. "There is a lot of excitement surrounding the final as our supporters want to be a part of this unforgettable experience. We really hope to have a fill stadium come April 29."
Tickets for the final are available via ticketmaster.ca (1-855-790-1245), as well as at the box offices at Stade Saputo and Olympic Stadium.
Supporters who purchase tickets for both this game on April 29, as well as for the opener at Stade Saputo on April 18, will benefit from a 15% discount. This offer is available at the Stade Saputo box office only or by calling 514-328-3668.
The organization invites supporters to arrive early on April 29 to avoid traffic around Olympic Park, at the queues to buy or pick up pre-purchased tickets, as well as at the entrance because of security procedures. Since there are only 3,500 parking spots at Olympic Stadium, it is highly recommended that you use the metro (access via the Pie-IX station).
