Ice Name Top Playoff Performer

Cranbrook, BC - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced today that Forward Luke Philp has been named the Boston Pizza Top Playoff Performer for the 2015 WHL Playoffs.

Philp amassed 12 points (5-7-12) in seven post-season games versus the Calgary Hitmen, and led the ICE in assists, points and game-winning goals (two) during the 2015 WHL Playoffs.

Philp currently sits tied for second among top WHL playoff point producers and is ranked second in the league in playoff assists.

Philp, who led Kootenay in regular season scoring with a career-high 82 points (30-52-82), has been ranked 172nd among North American Skaters in the final NHL Central Scouting Rankings for the 2015 Entry Draft. He was named the 2015 Kootenay ICE Most Valuable Player last month, and also claimed the annual Players' Award for the second consecutive season.
