Lumberjacks Announce Home Playoff Dates and Scenarios for First Round

MUSKEGON, Michigan (April 8th) - In cooperation with the United States Hockey League (USHL), the Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced the two potential first round scenarios of the 2015 Clark Cup Playoffs that begins the week of April 13th. The Lumberjacks open the playoffs up at the L.C. Walker Arena against either the Youngstown Phantoms or Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the Eastern Conference Semifinals pending the outcomes of the final regular season weekend.

A fourth-place finish in the East by the Lumberjacks results in a showdown against the top-seeded Phantoms in the first round featuring a 1-2-1-1 format with Muskegon hosting Games 1 and 4. The playoff schedule between the Lumberjacks and Phantoms pans out as follows:

- Game 1 (at Muskegon) - Wednesday, April 15th

- Game 2 (at Youngstown) - Friday, April 17th

- Game 3 (at Youngstown) - Saturday, April 18th

- Game 4 (at Muskegon) - Monday, April 20th*

- Game 5 (at Youngstown) - Wednesday, April 22nd*

*Games 4 and 5 if necessary

A third-place result in the East means a first round matchup against the second seed in Cedar Rapids consisting of a 2-3 format with Muskegon hosting Games 1 and 2. The playoff schedule between the Lumberjacks and RoughRiders unfolds as follows:

- Game 1 (at Muskegon) - Tuesday, April 14th

- Game 2 (at Muskegon) - Wednesday, April 15th

- Game 3 (at Cedar Rapids) - Friday, April 17th

- Game 4 (at Cedar Rapids) - Saturday, April 18th*

- Game 5 (at Cedar Rapids) - Monday, April 20th*

*Games 4 and 5 if necessary

All home playoff games begin at 7:15 pm with the L.C. Walker Arena doors opening at 6:15 pm. From when the doors open until the end of the first period, fans can take advantage of happy hour specials in $2 domestic drafts, popcorn, and soda. Group discounted tickets are also available for groups of ten or more.
