Sound Tigers Sign Eberle to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Tanner Eberle has been signed to a Professional Tryout Contract and the New York Islanders have reassigned defenseman Kevin Czuczman to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.

Eberle, 21, has spent the past five games with the Allen Americans of the ECHL, posting two goals and two assists. The 5'11 left-winger turned pro after four years with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League where he amassed 172 points (80 goals, 92 assists) in 270 games.

Czuczman, 24, has seven points (one goal, six assists) in 50 games with the Sound Tigers this season. Czuczman played six games earlier this season with the Everblades alongside Sound Tigers defenseman Jesse Graham. The 6'3 blueliner has 13 games of National Hockey League experience, all coming last season with the New York Islanders.
