Gladiators Home Opener this Saturday, Free Kickoff Rally Tomorrow

For sports fans, this week in Cleveland is one to be excited about with both the Indians Home Opener and Cavaliers game taking place on Friday. Two other can't-miss events involve the defending American Conference Champion Cleveland Gladiators including a free season kickoff rally on Wednesday and the Gladiators Home Opener on Saturday night. Both events will be at Quicken Loans Arena.

FREE Gladiators "Kickoff Rally" - Wednesday, April 8th - Prior to this Saturday's home opener, the community is invited to The Q to get a first look at the team in The Gladiators "Kickoff Rally" tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The rally will consist of a team practice, comments from Head Coach Steve Thonn and will culminate with the unveiling of the 2014 American Conference Championship Banner where fans will be able to access the field and take photos. The full team will be available for autograph and photo opportunities.

Gladiators Home Opener - Saturday, April 11th - The Gladiators (2-0) will host the Arizona Rattlers (1-1) in a rematch of ArenaBowl XXVII. This much anticipated game promises to have a ton of action, an electric atmosphere, and will feature many exciting promotions. The game is set for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at Quicken Loans Arena. The Home Opener will feature a magnetic schedule giveaway courtesy of Medical Mutual and a rally towel presented by Genesee. Both giveaways are for the first 7,500 fans in the door. Also included in the promotion are $1 sodas, $2 draft beers and a post-game field party presented by University Hospital's Elyria Medical Center. To round out the value packed night, Cleveland-based Hip Hop Group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will be entertaining fans after the game with a free post-game performance featuring their billboard hits. The performance by the platinum selling and Grammy award winning group will take place following the post-game field party.
