FC Kansas City Announces 2015 Final Roster

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS. (April 6, 2015) - The defending National Women's Soccer League Champion FC Kansas City announced its final roster prior to kicking off the 2015 season this Sunday at Sporting Park when the Blues host Sky Blue FC.
After three weeks in preseason camp, Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski and Director of Soccer Operations Huw Williams also announced the signing of college draft picks Katelyn Rowland from UCLA and Kaysie Clark from the University of Missouri along with preseason invitee Dominique Richardson to complete the nineteen-player roster.*
After helping the U.S. Women's National Team to a 4-0 win over New Zealand on Saturday, defender Becky Sauerbrunn, midfielders Heather O'Reilly and Lauren Holiday and forward Amy Rodriguez will be joining the Blues later this week.
The championship-defending roster will feature former USWNT veteran players Nicole Barnhart and Amy LePeilbet along with returnees Liz Bogus, Leigh Ann Robinson, Jen Buczkowski, Erika Tymrak, Mandy Laddish, Frances Silva and Sarah Hagen.
Wearing FC Kansas City for the first time in their careers will be defender Becca Moros who played for Portland last year and midfielder Yael Averbuch who spent last season with the Washington Spirit.
In addition, rookie Shea Groom will play her first season as a professional following her signing after being selected in the 2015 NWSL College Draft back in January 15th.

DEFENDERS : Amy LePeilbet, Becky Sauerbrunn, Becca Moros, Leigh Ann Robinson, Domi Richardson.
MIDFIELDERS : Lauren Holiday, Heather O'Reilly, Kaysie Clark, Jen Buczkowski, Yael Averbuch, Erika Tymrak, Liz Bogus, Mandy Laddish, Frances Silva.
FORWARDS: Amy Rodriguez, Sarah Hagen, Shea Groom.
*Kaysie Clark, Katelyn Rowland and Dominique Richardson are pending completion their contracts. Per league and team policies, terms of the contracts will not be disclosed.
