OHL Down to Eight

Ten days after the Sudbury Wolves season came to an end, the OHL finds itself down to just eight remaining teams. Ottawa, Kitchener, Peterborough, Saginaw, Owen Sound, Belleville, Sarnia and Kingston all lost their first round play-off series and have joined Sudbury, Plymouth, Mississauga and Windsor on the OHL sidelines.

The Wolves have begun preparations for the 2015-16 OHL season and will be the first team to announce the newest young prospect for the future. With the first overall selection, the Wolves will be announcing the first player selected overall on Friday, April 10th at a media conference planned at 11 a.m. With this selection, the Wolves will be looking to address their offensive needs moving forward by selecting a highly-skilled player.

The Wolves will then have the 28th selection overall and will select in the second and third rounds with selection # 41, 42 and 48. The Wolves will have a total of 16 selections in the 15 round draft and will add to their youth and depth with all of their selections in the 2015 Priority Selection.

The entire Selection Process can be followed online at www.ontariohockeyleague.com and individual scouting reports on each of the players selected will be available at www.sudburywolves.com shortly after the selections are made. The Sudbury Wolves will be hosting their annual Rookie Orientation Camp at the Countryside arena on April 25th & 26th.
