TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (38-18-4-5) return home to host the Bakersfield Condors (24-34-3-5). Ontario has a 7-2-1-2 record against Bakersfield this season, and has won the last six consecutive encounters against the Condors, outscoring the team by a 26-11 margin. Ontario is 47-27-10 all-time against Bakersfield since the two clubs began competition against each other in 2008-09.

FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS:

After missing 36 games on injured reserve from late November through early March, rookie defenseman broke out in a big way on Saturday against the Condors. The bruising blueliner scored two goals and an assist for a career-high three points, and also posted a season-best +4, and dropped the gloves in the third period for his first pro Gordie Howe hat trick.

CHRISTIE IN REACH OF ECHL WIN #480:

Jason Christie's next win will tie him with John Brophy (Hampton Roads, 1989-2000 and Wheeling, 2001-03) for second all-time in ECHL head coaching wins with 480.

BLACKWATER APPROACHING CLUB SINGLE-SEASON GOALS MARK:

Judd Blackwater's goal on Saturday against the Condors put the Reign forward in some rarefied air, as he became only the fourth skater in club history to reach the 30-goal plateau in a single campaign, after Kyle Kraemer (30; 2012-13), Colton Yellow Horn (36; 2012-13) and Greg Hogeboom (32; 2009-10). With six games remaining, and riding a three-game streak during which he has posted six goals, he is only another six goals away from tying the single-season club record of 36 set by his good friend Yellow Horn in 2012-13.
