Linden Bahm Named to SPHL All-Rookie Team

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Wednesday announced its 2014-2015 All-Rookie Team, as selected by a vote of SPHL coaches, general managers and media representatives. Mississippi RiverKings forward Linden Bahm was named one of the three forwards on the SPHL All-Rookie team.

"Linden has worked hard all year and has been very consistent for us," RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser said. "He deserves the recognition."

Bahm, 25, signed with the RiverKings Nov. 21 and played 49 games with Mississippi in the regular season. The Ontario native was third among rookies with 35 points (15g, 20a), including five game-winning goals, which was tops among first-year players. Bahm finished fifth on the team in points and was tied for the team lead with five power-play goals.

The RiverKings will host Game 2 of the First Round of the President's Cup Playoffs against the Pensacola Ice Flyers Friday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. at the Landers Center. Fans are encouraged to wear green for a "Green Out" and those who do will save $2 on select tickets at the Box Office.
