Wings Win Again Behind Strong Pitching

FORT MYERS, FL - Greg Peavey allowed one hit and issued three walks over 5.0 scoreless innings while striking out three as the Rochester Red Wings beat the Pawtucket Red Sox 1-0 Tuesday afternoon.
Logan Darnell tossed 2.0 perfect frames with two strikeouts and Ryan Pressly earned the save by striking out three in 2.0 innings. With the win, Rochester improves to 8-1-3 this spring.
The Red Wings offense did just enough, riding an Eddie Rosario run in the first inning to victory. The Wings recorded just five base hits.
Rochester hosts the Durham Bulls at CenturyLink Sports Complex Wednesday at 1p.m.
