1180 Zone 2 The Deuce to Broadcast 143 Storm Chasers Games in 2015

OMAHA, Neb. - For the seventh season in a row, KZOT 1180 Zone 2 The Deuce will broadcast the Back-to-Back Triple-A National Champion Omaha Storm Chasers, airing 143 of 144 games in 2015. Coverage kicks off today with the "Storm Chasers Preview Show" from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Mark Nasser, voice of the Storm Chasers, will host the "Preview Show" featuring interviews from Royals General Manager Dayton Moore, first baseman Eric Hosmer, longtime Omaha manager Mike Jirschele and current Storm Chasers manager Brian Poldberg from Spring Training in Surprise, Arizona.

The 2015 season for the Storm Chasers begins on the road in New Orleans on April 9 and will be broadcast on KOZN 1620 The Zone, the only game not on 1180 Zone 2 The Deuce. Coverage will kick off at 6:40 p.m. CDT, with first pitch from Zephyr Field set for 7:00 p.m.

Broadcasts for the 144 Storm Chasers games this season will begin 20 minutes prior to first pitch for the Metropolitan Community College pre-game show and features the post-game show after the final out. All games can be streamed online www.omahastormchasers.com and are available on the TuneIn Radio App.

Mark Nasser, in his 15th season as broadcaster, will be joined for play-by-play by Brett Pollock for all 72 home games, and for the pre-game and post-game shows for all 72 road games. Pollock returns for his fifth season with Omaha.

In addition to Storm Chasers games this season, the First National Bank 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game at Werner Park will also be broadcast on 1180 Zone 2 The Deuce July 15.

Opening Night at Werner Park is April 17 at 7:05 p.m., the first Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks game of the season as well as the 2015 Magnet Schedule Giveaway to the first 1,500 fans presented by King Kong.
