15 Bisons Games to Air Live on Sportsnet 590 the FAN in 2015

For a third consecutive season, Blue Jays fans throughout Ontario will hear the future of their favorite franchise all summer long with the live broadcast of 15 Bisons games on Sportsnet 590 The FAN in Toronto.

The 15-game schedule is more than double the seven games carried by the radio home for Blue Jays baseball in 2014. And with the schedule beginning on July 1st, Sportsnet 590 The FAN will broadcast more than a third of the Bisons' games over the final two months of the season when pennant races heat up and prospects push for late-season promotions to the big leagues.

"This is a great partnership and we're extremely excited that Sportsnet 590 The FAN will help us share the excitement of Bisons baseball with their listeners," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Bisons. "Every year, Sportsnet 590 does a tremendous job covering the Toronto Blue Jays for baseball fans throughout Ontario and into Western New York."

Each broadcast will feature "The Voice of the Bisons," Ben Wagner as well as the color commentary of Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer, Duke McGuire, and WGR Sportsradio 550's, Pat Malacaro. The simulcast schedule will begin on Wednesday, July 1 as the Bisons face the Gwinnett Braves (7:05 p.m.) and includes six games in July, seven games in August and two in September. Sportsnet 590 The FAN is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays and unanimous radio destination for Toronto sports fans. An official broadcaster of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC, it boasts a lineup that includes Canada's most-listened to sports afternoon drive show - Prime Time Sports - and features the top sports personalities in the country.

All 2015 Bisons games will continue to be broadcast on the flagship station of Buffalo Bisons Baseball, ESPN 1520 AM.
