IceDogs Fall in Game Two

The Niagara IceDogs fell in game two to the Ottawa 67's 8-2 Saturday afternoon in Ottawa.
The two teams exchanged chances in the first period, but neither could find the back of the net in the first 20 minutes.
Brendan Perlini got the IceDogs on the board first with a power play goal at 2:07 of the second period, his first of the playoffs. The 67's tied it up just 39 seconds later on a goal by Alex Lintuniemi. Nathan Todd scored a couple minutes later to give the 67's a 2-1 lead. Curtis Meighan, Nevin Guy, Dante Salituro and Jeremiah Addison also tallied in the middle frame to make it 6-1 after 40 minutes.
Salituro added his second of the day at 5:54 of the third period, before Mikkel Aagaard answered for the IceDogs to make it 7-2. Jacob Middleton added to the lead as the 67's took game two 8-2.
The series now shifts to the Meridian Centre with the IceDogs needing a big win on home ice Monday night.
