Louis Beland-Goyette to Play with FC Montreal this Season
March 26, 2015 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that midfielder Louis Béland-Goyette has been removed from the first team's roster and added to FC Montreal's roster for the 2015 season in USL.
"We made this difficult decision because of roster regulations," said Impact technical director Adam Braz. "We will continue to keep an eye on his performance in training with the Impact and in games with FC Montreal in USL."
FC Montreal will play its first ever USL match this Saturday at 12:30pm at Olympic Stadium against Toronto FC II. You must have a ticket to the Impact game in order to gain access to the FC Montreal game. Earlier in the day, the club's soccer schools will host activities on the field at Olympic Stadium.
Suspended for the game against Orlando, as he was ejected from last Saturday's game against New England with a red card, first team defender Hassoun Camara will play in FC Montreal's inaugural match.
