Bloomington Edge Upgrades Digital Signage Solution

(BLOOMINGTON, IL) | The Bloomington Edge, a member team of the X-League indoor professional arena football league, announced today the upgrade of its digital signage solution at its home venue of the US Cellular Coliseum. The solution, powered by Venuetize, enables the Edge to use location-based advertising, live video streaming, and special offers via push notifications across the 44 screens throughout the arena.
"We wanted to improve the game day experience for fans," said Michael Mink, owner of the Bloomington Edge and Commissioner of the X-League. "At the same time, we also wanted a solution that would meet advertiser and sponsor expectations while developing new revenue opportunities for the team."
Developed by Tripleplay, the digital signage system with live video streaming capability operates from a single server and is capable of playing any format of content in customizable playlists on all screens throughout the venue during live games.
