(POMONA, N.Y.) - Come and join the Rockland Boulders for a free Egg Hunt at Provident Bank Park. BoulderBird will host all children 10 and under for the 2nd Annual "BoulderBird's Egg Hunt" on Saturday, April 4th at 8:45 am, and the event is presented by Hudson Health Plan, DiCicco Family Markets, and Shop Rite.

"Everyone had so much fun last year that if we didn't do it again I would never hear the end of it from BoulderBird" chuckled Boulders President Ken Lehner. "As an organization, we are committed to providing friendly and safe entertainment for all families and Provident Bank Park is the perfect place to do so."

Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. with breakfast available for purchase at the park. All children will be divided into two age groups: 5 and under and 6-10 years old. The 30-minute hunt will begin at 9:15 as all participants search the outfield for eggs filled with candy. Scattered among the projected 5,000 eggs will be several "Golden Eggs" that will include Boulders prizes including tickets and the ability to throw out the first pitch prior to a 2015 home game. Kids must bring their own bags/baskets, and are invited to take pictures with BoulderBird and the Easter Bunny throughout the day.

The "Boulders Eggs-press" train will be available for rides while music plays throughout the ballpark. BoulderBird's Egg Hunt is one of the Rockland Boulders events that features free candy and a safe environment, along with BouderBird's annual Trick or Treat in October.

Opening Night is just around the corner, as the Can Am Champion Boulders start the 2015 season against Trois-Rivieres on Thursday, May 21, with pregame ceremonies featuring the raising of the Championship Banner and the presenting of the Championship Rings to the coaches, players and staff.
