Bluefish to Host Leadoff Luncheon April 23rd

(Bridgeport, Conn. - March 24, 2015) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced they will host a Leadoff Luncheon on Thursday, April 23rd, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bridgeport Holiday Inn. The event will support the Hall Neighborhood House and celebrate the start of the 2015 baseball season, which begins Friday, April 24th at home game against the Camden Riversharks.
"It's a pleasure to team up with a great organization like Hall Neighborhood House for a special event like this," says Bluefish general manager Jamie Toole. "This will be a great opportunity for our fans to meet all the members of our 2015 team for the first time."
Come meet the 2015 'Fish, as all team members will be in attendance at the event. All players and coaches will be available to speak with fans and answer questions. There will be special items raffled off at the event, including suite nights, ticket voucher books, and autographed memorabilia.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Hall Neighborhood House, a local organization which provides a host of social and educational programs that benefit the lives of children, youth, families and senior citizens. Besides their child care preschool educational programs, Hall provides services and support through their Youth Services program, the Hall Arts Academy (HAA) and the Ella Jackson Senior Citizen Center. Their mission is to provide services that enrich and empower the lives of families, children and individuals in Bridgeport and the surrounding communities.
