Bulldogs' Playoff Push Continues

Following a regulation loss and an overtime loss this past weekend against the San Antonio Rampage, the Hamilton Bulldogs head into three divisional games this week still vying for playoff position.

On Wednesday, March 25, the Bulldogs will visit the Adirondack Flames (American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames) at Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. at 7 p.m. in the eighth and final matchup between the two clubs this season. The 'Dogs hold a record of 2-3-2-0 in the season series with the Flames.

On Friday, March 27, the 'Dogs will travel to Rochester, N.Y. to take on the Rochester Americans (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres) at Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. in the 10th and final game between the teams this season. So far in 2014-15, Hamilton has a record of 6-2-1-0 against Rochester.

On Saturday, March 28, Hamilton will faceoff against the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) at Ricoh Coliseum at 3 p.m. in the 12th and final contest in the AHL's Battle of Ontario in 2014-15. So far this year, the Bulldogs are 6-4-1-0 against the Marlies.

BULLDOGS SELL AHL FRANCHISE TO CANADIENS, ANDLAUER PURCHASES OHL'S BELLEVILLE BULLS

Hamilton Bulldogs owner Michael Andlauer announced on Thursday, March 12 the official sale of the American Hockey League franchise to the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens which will take place at the conclusion of the 2014-15 AHL season. Andlauer also announced the purchase of the Ontario Hockey League's Belleville Bulls who will be relocated to Hamilton and renamed the Bulldogs for the start of the 2015-16 season.
