March 22, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Vancouver Giants News Release
Vancouver, B.C. - On March 28th and 29th, the Western Hockey League (WHL), in conjunction with Okanagan Hockey Group, will bring the WHL Prospect Combines to Sungod Arena in Delta, BC.
The two-day event brings the same testing done at the 2015 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game to the top young players across Western Canada and the USA. There will be on and off-ice testing utilizing Sport Testing Inc.'s equipment and extensive database on Day 1, while on Day 2 there will be skill improvement sessions and seminars for all players based on their testing results.
WHL Prospect Combines not only give young players an opportunity to test their abilities in comparison to other elite players, but also give players the opportunity to learn more about the WHL. Players also have the chance to showcase their talents to WHL Clubs as all Combine results are provided to WHL General Managers and scouting departments.
