North Charleston, S.C. - Goaltender Jeff Jakaitis earned his 4th consecutive shutout and pushed his record shutout streak to 319:32 and forward Brett Cameron scored twice to push the South Carolina Stingrays' (38-18-1-6) record winning streak to 20 games with a 4-0 victory over the Indy Fuel (25-28-4-5) at the North Charleston Coliseum Friday night. Stingrays forward Wayne Simpson opened the scoring 6:22 into the first period completing a 3-on-2 rush with forward Andrew Rowe and defenseman Wade Epp. Cameron gave the Stingrays a two-goal advantage at 11:05 knocking a loose puck past Fuel goaltender Mac Carruth (L, 18 saves on 22 shots) from forwards Patrick Gaul and Caleb Herbert.

Forward Tim Spencer made it 3-0 early in the second period burying a rebound for his eighth goal of the season 48 seconds into the frame. Gaul and defenseman Lee Moffie added assists.

Cameron sealed the victory in the third period shrugging off a defender and lifting a shot over the glove of Carruth at 5:36. Forward Brandon Wong grabbed the lone assist. The Stingrays finished the game 0-for-1 on the power play while the Fuel went 0-for-3.
