Parkview Catering, Barons Introduce New Menu Items

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - With opening day just a few weeks away, the Barons introduced Thursday a trio of items to be added, as well as a gluten-free menu, to this season's concession selection at Regions Field. Along with Regions Field favorites like the Steel City Burger and Magic City Dog, fans will now be able to order a Dreamland BBQ Salad, Good People Coffee Oatmeal Stout Beer Float and the B-Ham Chicken Sandwich.
"We are always looking for new items to add to our wide selection of food choices here at Regions Field," Parkview Catering General Manager Eric Crook said. "In staying with the tradition of keeping our menu local, we are sure our fans will enjoy our menu options. We always want to create new and interesting items for our fans as they return each season."
Dreamland BBQ Salad - A green salad topped with your choice of Dreamland's signature pulled pork or chopped chicken, served with ranch dressing and Dreamland BBQ sauce.
Good People Coffee Oatmeal Stout Beer Float - A twist on your classic, summertime favorite. A 16 oz. serving of Good People's famous Coffee Oatmeal Stout brew and vanilla ice cream.
The B-Ham Chicken Sandwich - A grilled chicken breast served on a toasted ciabatta roll and topped with sliced ham, three slices of bacon, two slices of pepper jack cheese and sriracha mayo.
Gluten-Free Menu - All Dreamland items, all Golden Flake products, hot dogs*, chicken sandwiches*, regular nachos, fruit bowls, veggie bowls and tossed salad with ranch and honey mustard dressing. (*When ordered without bun.)
Regions Field is also expanding its already-extensive beer selection. Adding to one of Birmingham's best beer menus, Parkview Catering adds Good People's Bearded Lady, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, Lagunitas Pilsner, New Belgium Slow Ride, Singin' River Handy's Gold and Abita Wrought Iron IPA. Terrapin Liquid Bliss and Hi-5, and Oskar Blues Mama's Lil Yella Pils and Throwback Pinner IPA also join the brew family.
