Stampede Weekly Update: Herd Close out 10-Game Road Trip this Weekend

The Sioux Falls Stampede continued their season long 10-game road trip this past weekend with a three game slate against Western Conference opponents Omaha, Lincoln, and Waterloo.
The Herd entered the weekend on a three game losing streak, but rallied on Friday night with a huge 4-3 shootout victory over 3rd place Omaha. Read the full recap here Sioux Falls wrapped up their stretch of three games in three days with a Sunday afternoon matinee in Waterloo, Iowa. The Herd had no answer for Black Hawks goalie Cale Morris who earned the 3-0 shutout victory. Read the full recap here
Sioux Falls will close out their ten game road trip this Friday and Saturday when they travel to Sioux City and Chicago on Friday and Saturday. Game times are 7:05 PM each night and you can catch both games live on KELO News Talk 1320-AM, 107.9-FM and online at kelo.com.
TIP-A-STAMPEDE NIGHT NEXT TUESDAY AT BEEF 'O' BRADY'S
Join the Sioux Falls Stampede players and coaches next Tuesday, March 24th from 5-8 PM at both Beef 'O' Brady's locations (Sanford Pentagon & 69th and Western Locations) for Tip-A-Stampede Night!
All tips collected that night will benefit the Stampede Foundation For Kids Program. There will be prizes for the top 5 tippers at nights end, including an autographed Stampede jersey!
THE SIOUX FALLS STAMPEDE RETURN HOME MARCH 26TH
The Sioux Falls Stampede return home March 26th for Wingstop /Non-Profit night. The first 2,000 fans 12 and under will receive a free book courtesy of Wingstop! Fans will have the opportunity to meet with several non-profit organizations setup throughout the concourse area during the game as well.
CHICKS WITH STICKS EVENT SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 4th
Ladies, have you ever wanted to learn more about the game of hockey? For the first time ever the Stampede are hosting Chicks with Sticks on April 4th.
This will be an opportunity for women 18 and over to learn the basic fundamentals of the fast past, high energy game of hockey. You will be invited to attend a special chalk talk session where you will learn basic strategies and different drills that build upon the basic skills.
After that, it's time to hit the ice where you will learn the basic skills of playing hockey.
MODERN WOODMEN/SPECIAL OLYMPICS NIGHT MARCH 27TH
Friday, March 27th is Modern Woodmen of America/Special Olympics Night . Fans can take part in a special silent auction of Sports Memorabilia in the main concourse during the game. Some items available at the silent auction include an acoustic guitar signed by country stars including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney as well as a signed Chris Chelios jersey, Bobby Hull signed jersey and a Joe Montana signed jersey! All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Special Olympics of South Dakota and a shoot for the loot contest will take place in between periods, featuring some Special Olympians.
