Columbus Blue Jackets Reassign Goaltender Oscar Dansk to Kalamazoo Wings

Springfield, Mass. - The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned goaltender Oscar Dansk from the Springfield Falcons to the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL, Blue Jackets General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Dansk, 21, has appeared in 21 games with the Falcons during his first professional campaign this season, tallying a 7-7-5 record along with a 3.57 goals-against average and .880 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound goaltender has also posted a 0-6-0 record with a 3.88 goals-against average and .892 save percentage in six contests with the Wings earlier this season.
The Stockholm, Sweden native spent the 2013-14 season with the Erie Otters of the OHL, finishing fourth in the league in wins, first in goals-against average and tied for first in shutouts with a 29-9-1 record, 2.39 goals-against average, .909 save percentage and six shutouts. Dansk registered a 40-32-7 record with a 3.25 goals-against average and .897 save percentage in 85 career OHL games. The rookie netminder also spent two seasons with the Brynas IF Gavle of the Swedish Hockey League from 2010-12.
Dansk was drafted in the second round, 31st overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
