Texas Recalls Henrik Kiviaho from ECHL

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today goaltender Henrik Kiviaho has been recalled from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.

The 21-year-old Kiviaho (kih-vee-AH-hoh) is on his third call-up to the AHL this season. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound goaltender is 10-6-2 in 21 ECHL games this season with a 2.79 goals against average and an .899 save percentage. The Lapeeranta, Finland native was a fifth-round pick (144th overall) of the Dallas Stars in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Texas begins a four-game road trip on Thursday at Chicago at 7 p.m. CST.
