Guelph Storm News Release

The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Robby Fabbri is the HY GRADE STEEL ROOFING Player of the Week for the week ending March 15th.

Fabbri collected four goals and four assists in two games this past week. Named second star of the game in Thursday's 9-3 win over the Spitfires, the Mississauga native had his best night since returning to the line-up at the beginning of the month recording his 8th career hattrick and adding two helpers. Friday in Kitchener, Fabbri picked up a goal and an assist in the Storm's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. He was named second star of the game for the second consecutive night setting up Tyler Bertuzzi for his 43rd of the season before scoring late in the third for his 22nd of the year.

Playing in just 27 games so far this year, Fabbri sits 5th in Storm scoring with 47 points. Since returning to the line-up March 1st, the St. Louis Blues first round pick has recorded nine points in five games. His most recent hattrick on Thursday night is the fourth one he has scored this season.

Next up, the Storm face a busy week at the Sleeman Centre that could have huge playoff implications. The Kitchener Rangers are in town on Tuesday at 7pm for a rare weeknight match up. Sponsored by RBC, the Storm will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys that will be auctioned off at a later date with all net proceeds going to the Guelph Giants special needs hockey club. Friday night the Owen Sound Attack are in town before the Sarnia Sting finish off the 2014-15 regular season on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are still available for all games and can be purchased online or by visiting or calling the Guelph Storm Box Office at 519-837-9690.
