Bulls Drop Fourth Straight, Fall 3-2 to 67's

BELLEVILLE, ON - The Belleville Bulls battled the Ottawa 67's for the final time this season on Saturday night at the Yardmen Arena. After jumping out to an early two goal lead, the visiting 67's netted three un-answered to hand the Bulls their fourth straight loss.

It didn't take long for Belleville to bring 2,800 plus fans to their feet as they opened the scoring just over two minutes into the opening frame. Czech Republic native David Tomasek jumped over the blueline and wired home his 12th of the season. Defenceman Jesse Saban picked up the assist on the games first goal.

About eight minutes later the Bulls were at it again as 1997-born blueliner Justin Lemcke buried his 7th of the campaign. Forwards Stephen Harper and Tomasek added the helpers. Belleville led 10-9 in shots after the first 20 minutes of action.

The 67's flipped the script late in the middle frame. While on a 5 on 3 man advantage, Ottawa potted back-to-back goals, the first coming from Alex Lintuniemi and the second from Brendan Bell. Dante Saloturo, Nathan Todd and Jeremiah Addison were all credited with assists. Ottawa jumped out in front on the shot clock as well, leading 18-15 after two periods.

Early into the final frame, the 67's got the go ahead marker when Addison wired his 17th of the season past Connor Hicks, who replaced starter Charlie Graham after suffering an upper body injury. . The Bulls had a couple of chances late in regulation but were un able to find the equalizer.

The Bulls fall to 25-32-3-4 but still remain a point ahead of the eighth place Peterborough Petes. Graham made 12 saves in 23 minutes of action while Hicks stopped 7 shots in 35 minutes of play.
