Marlies Lose to Flames 5-4

The Toronto Marlies and Adirondack Flames met in the Glens Falls Civic Center for the last time Saturday night, falling short 5-4. The Marlies fell behind 4-1 after the first period and would be unable to recover despite cutting the deficit to one. William Nylander had two goals on the evening, extending his point streak to 5 games, while Christopher Gibson made 26 saves in relief for the Marlies.

The Marlies now travel to the Montreal and the Bell Center for a game against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Marlies next home game is March 20th when they host the Lake Erie Monsters for the first ever Star Wars night.
