Ports to Continue "30 Days of Opening Day" in 2015

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Ports are excited to continue the "30 Days of Opening Day" tradition, in preparation for the start of the 2015 season.

The promotion will begin on Tuesday, March 17th and will go through Wednesday, April 15th. Splash and the Ports Front Office are scheduled to appear at locations within San Joaquin County to distribute tickets to lucky fans, in addition to holding social media promotions.

Monday Madness - Splash is scheduled to be at the locations below each Monday to give the first fan who gives Splash a high-five and says "Go Ports" four (4) tickets for the exhibition game on April 8th as the Ports take on Delta College. The next ten (10) people will receive two (2) tickets for the exhibition game.

Tour Stop Tuesday - Splash and the Ports front office will appear at the scheduled locations to give away two (2) Opening Night tickets to the first four (4) people to high-five Splash. Locations will be announced on the Ports' official Facebook page every Tuesday morning.

Donut Wednesday - Splash will be delivering three dozen donuts each Wednesday to local businesses. Fans can track Splash's whereabouts throughout the day on the Ports' Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

10th Anniversary #TBT Trivia- In honor of the 10th anniversary of Banner Island Ballpark, the Ports will be hosting Ports-related trivia from the ballpark's history. Fans can head to the Ports' Facebook page each Thursday at noon to participate, and the first two (2) correct answers will receive two (2) tickets to Opening Night on Thursday, April 16th.

Forecast Friday - Every Friday leading up to Opening Night, the Ports will be highlighting an Oakland Athletics' prospect. Fans can head to the Ports' official blog, Docking with the Ports every Friday afternoon to read the player spotlights.

Instagram Saturday - Fans are encouraged to post a picture of themselves in Ports gear on Instagram and use the hashtag "DecadeontheDocks". The Ports will choose one (1) lucky winner to receive two (2) tickets to Opening Night.

Social Media Showcase Sunday - On Sundays the Ports will be showcasing new additions that can be found at Banner Island Ballpark during the 2015 season, ranging from items in the team store to dining options. Fans can check out the Ports' official Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram every Sunday for the spotlight of the week.

Opening day is April 16th, 2015 vs. the Visalia Rawhide. Season tickets, group tickets, and mini-plans are currently on sale. For more information about the 2015 season, call the Ports front office at (209) 644-1900. Individual tickets will be on-sale at stocktonports.com beginning Friday, March 27th.
