Sound Tigers Trade Courtnall to Syracuse

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that the team has traded Justin Courtnall to the Syracuse Crunch for future considerations.

Courtnall, 25, has appeared in 40 games for the Sound Tigers this season, registering seven points (four goals, three assists). Bridgeport signed the 6'3, 204-pound winger to an American Hockey League contract back on August 29, 2014.

The Victoria, B.C., native now has 107 games of AHL experience. Prior to playing professional hockey, Courtnall spent three years at Boston University. He is the son of former National Hockey Leaguer Geoff Courtnall.
