Tampa Bay Storm News Release
TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the acquisition of defensive lineman Brandon Sesay and defensive back Nick Addison.
"Both Brandon and Nick bring added depth to the defense," said Storm Vice President of Football Operations, Jeff Gooch. "They both exhibit the qualities we look for in a defensive player. They have high motors and have the ability to make an impact on the defensive side of the ball."
Sesay (6-foot-6, 295 lbs., Texas Tech) joins the Storm for his first season in Tampa Bay. The two-year veteran spent time with the Tulsa Talons (2011) and the San Antonio Talons (2014). The Atlanta native started in 15-of-16 games for the Talons in 2014 and recorded 16.5 tackles, four sacks, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and fumble recovery. Sesay played collegiately at the College of the Sequoias (CA) before settling in at Texas Tech.
Addison (6-foot-1, 180 lbs., Bethune-Cookman) joins the Storm for his rookie campaign. The Spoto High School (Riverview, FL) product played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman University, starting in 25-of-30 games for the Wildcats. Addison was a two-time All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference selection and was an Associated Press FCS All-America second team selection. In three seasons with B-CU, Addison tallied 139 tackles, nine interceptions, nine pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, a blocked kick and three defensive touchdowns.
Addison began his professional career with the Houston Texans of the National Football League.
