Ice Miners and Eagles to Complete Suspended Game on March 13

CONNELLSVILLE, PA - With 12:42 remaining in the third period of the game between the Soo Eagles and Keystone Ice Miners on Saturday, February 7th at the Ice Mine, a pane of glass near the zamboni entrance was broken beyond repair, postponing the game with Soo leading 2-1.

It was confirmed on Thursday that two teams will finish the game on Friday, March 13th at Pullar Stadium in Sault Ste Marie, MI, starting at 7:30 - the regularly scheduled start time for the game that night. They will play the 12:42, plus potential overtime and/or shootout, followed by an ice cut and then the start of that night's regularly scheduled game. Brad Pung and Matt Menta have the Soo goals in the contest while Matt Jones has the Keystone tally. Jack Berry and Alex Blankenburg were in net.

The Ice Miners and Eagles will also play on Saturday, March 14th at 7:00 PM to conclude their season series. At this moment, only one point separtates the two teams in the North Division standings.
