LA KISS Add Three Before Heading to Camp

(ANAHEIM, CA) - The LA KISS have added three more players to their 2015 roster with the acquisitions of rookie defensive end Iosua Siliva, along with veteran quarterback Brian Zbydniewski and defensive end Michale Spicer.

Siliva (6-4, 275, Austin Peay) enters his first season in the AFL after a standout collegiate career on and off the field at Austin Peay University. The rookie pass rusher finished his college career with 78 tackles, including 17 for loss, in 41 career games and was a CoSIDA Academic All-America selection and preseason All-Conference choice as a senior. He spent time with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts prior to joining the KISS.

Zbydniewski (6-1, 215, Belhaven) is a five-year veteran of the AFL. He completed 106-of-183 passes for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns in seven games with the Spokane Shock last season. He has also suited up for the Tampa Bay Storm, New Orleans VooDoo and Cleveland Gladiators during his time in the League. For his career, Zbydniewski has passed for 6,261 yards and 110 touchdowns. He played his collegiate football for the Belhaven Blazers from 2003-04, where he left his mark all over the record books. Zbydniewski ranks first in single-season passing yards (3,888), career 300-yard passing games (16), and single-season total offense (3,632). He is also second in school history in career passing yards (6,704), career touchdown passes (42), and career 200-yard passing games (21)

Spicer (6-3, 275, Western Carolina), a six-year veteran of the League, returns for his second season in a KISS uniform. He saw action in four games last season, tallying 5.5 tackles and three sacks during his time in LA. Spicer began his AFL career with the Los Angeles Avengers in 2005. He has also suited up for the New Orleans VooDoo, Columbus Destroyers, and Spokane Shock during his time in the League. For his career, he has logged 67 tackles and 13.5 sacks. A two-time All-SoCon selection and 2002 All-American at Western Carolina, Spicer broke the program's career record for tackles for loss (58) and finished his collegiate career with 29 sacks.

LA KISS Training Camp opens up this Friday, March 6th with the official team roster. A FREE Scrimmage Preseason game is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at Honda Center against the San Jose Sabercats. The 2015 LA KISS regular season will open on the road on March 27th in Portland, and the LA KISS home opener on April 11th Vs the new expansion team Las Vegas Outlaws at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
