Spokane Chiefs News Release

SPOKANE, Wash. - Six Spokane Chiefs prospects participated in the recently concluded 2015 Canada Winter Games, with three earning medals as Team Alberta won silver and Team Manitoba earned bronze. Forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan, the Chiefs' first round pick (14th overall) in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft, led Spokane prospects with seven points in the tournament.

Anderson-Dolan, as an alternate captain, helped lead Team Alberta with three goals in the tournament, including two goals and an assist versus New Brunswick on February 26. One of his three scores came while shorthanded. He was second on the team in total points, with his four assists all coming on the power play. Alberta lost to Ontario, 3-1 in the gold medal game on March 1.

Forward Ethan McIndoe, Spokane's 3rd Round (58th overall) pick in 2014, joined Anderson-Dolan on the silver medal-winning Team Alberta. He scored once - a power play goal - in six games, adding two penalty minutes.

Hayden Ostir, the Chiefs' second round (36th overall) pick in 2014, scored a hat trick of his own to help lead Team Manitoba to a win in the bronze medal game versus Quebec on February 28. Ostir led Manitoba in overall goals scored with four and was second on the team in total points with five.

Defenseman Tyler Jubenvill joined Ostir on the third place team from Manitoba, appearing in six games and earning four penalty minutes. Jubenville was Spokane's ninth round (177th overall) selection in 2014 and made the team after not even being invited to Team Manitoba camp initially.

Jake Harrison, a defenseman from West Kelowna, B.C., earned designation as an alternate captain for Team B.C. as they went 2-4-0-0 in the tournament despite being outscored just 21-26. Harrison scored twice, including once on the power play, and recorded two penalty minutes. Harrison was Spokane's fourth round (71st overall) pick in 2014.

Logan Foster, a forward from Kamsack, Saskatchewan, tallied two assists and two penalty minutes in seven games for Team Saskatchewan. Foster was Spokane's seventh round (146th overall) selection in 2014.
