** Wichita is 3-4-0-1 vs. Rapid City

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the ninth and final regular season meeting between the Thunder and the Rush. All-time, Wichita is 18-31-6 against Rapid City and 7-15-4 at home.

TODAY - Wichita closes out a five-game homestand against the Rapid City Rush tonight, which is the final meeting of the regular season between the two teams. The Thunder are coming off a loss on Sunday afternoon against Allen while Rapid City defeated Tulsa on Saturday night by the final of 6-2. The last four games in the season-series have been decided by just one goal and that also includes five of the last six meetings. Two of the last four contests were decided in a shootout and the Rush won the most recent meeting at INTRUST Bank Arena by the final of 3-2 on February 20th. Jesse Schultz leads the Rush with 58 points while Ian Lowe leads Wichita with 50.

PLAYOFF PUSH - Tonight's game begins a very important stretch for the Thunder as they push to make the top four in the division. Wichita sits one point behind Rapid City in the standings and will not see the Rush the rest of the way. Tulsa lost last night to Missouri, which benefited both teams tonight. The Thunder have three games in hand on Quad City, Rapid City and Tulsa. After tonight, the team will hit the road for seven-straight beginning Friday night against Brampton.

SEASON HIGH - The Wichita power play has started to find some rhythm and had a season-high three power play goals on Sunday. After struggling over a five-game stretch, going 1-for-23, the Thunder have gone 11-for-41 over the last seven games, operating at 26.8%. Four out of the seven games the team has scored two or more times on the man advantage.

PLAYMAKING - Danick Gauthier set a new high for assists in a game, helping on back-to-back goals in the second and Wichita's fourth marker in the third from Ian Lowe. He has points in his last seven games, recording four goals and eight assists over that span.

THE AMERICANS - Nikita Kashirsky and Kirill Tulupov have contributed offensively over the last few games. Tulupov scored a power play goal on Friday night and assisted on another against Allen on Sunday. Kashirsky has goals in four-straight games and points in his last five (4g, 2a).

BULLSEYE - Jesse Schultz will be a marked man tonight. He has 11 points (2g, 9a) in eight games against the Thunder this season and leads Rapid City with 58 points (25g, 33a). Todd Hosmer leads the Thunder with four goals against the Rush while Nikita Kashirsky has three tallies in the season-series.

MAGIC NUMBER - Mike Wilson hit one personal milestone and moved closer to another with two points yesterday. He scored on the power play in the second for his eighth of the season and added an assist on Ian Lowe's power play goal in the third. The North Vancouver, BC native has 100 points (20g, 80a) in 199 ECHL games and needs two more to reach 200 points in his professional career.
