Take the Polar Plunge with the Kalamazoo Wings this Saturday

KALAMAZOO- Known for skating on frozen water, the Kalamazoo Wings will take off their skates and jump into freezing water this Saturday, March 7th for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge presented by Sam's Club at Wings Stadium.

Head coach Nick Bootland, assistant coach Colin Chaulk will represent the K-Wings along with staff members Chuck Gower and Matt Valinski.

The Polar Plunge will occur this Saturday from 2-4:30 p.m. on the Wings Stadium ice, with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. The K-Wings will take their plunge near the conclusion of the event.

Anyone that participates in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge will receive a FREE ticket to the K-Wings game later that night against the Fort Wayne Komets.

For anyone that would rather dip into their wallet and not a pool to help the Special Olympics', you can donate to the K-Wings plunge team by clicking here.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan.
