Sky Sox Announce 2015 Job Fairs at Security Service Field

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Have you ever wanted to work in baseball? Now is your chance. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox will be holding a pair of job fairs this year where interested candidates will be able to interview for part-time, summer positions in a variety of areas. The first job fair is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 and the second is set for a week later on Saturday, March 21. Both job fairs will begin at 9:00 AM and last until 12:00 PM in the First Command Banquet Hall at Security Service Field.

The job fair on March 14 will be for those candidates interested in applying and interviewing for positions in the following areas:

Stadium Staff: Ushers, Ticket Takers, and Parking Attendants

Retail: Cashiers and Vendors

Ticket Window Reps: Cashiers

Fun Zone: Supervisors, Fun Zone/Game Attendants

Promotions: On-field and Front Gate Entertainment Assistants

Production: Behind the scenes video production and management

Batboys: Includes pre- and post-game equipment work, plus in-game dugout duties

Grounds Crew: On-Field maintenance workers

The job fair on March 21 will be for those candidates interested in applying and interviewing for positions in the following areas:

Concessions: Concession Stand Staff, Food Prep/Stocking, and Vendors

Concessions: In-Stand Food/Beverage Sales Vendors

Catering: Suite Attendant, Servers, and Food Prep/Stocking

Catering: Picnic Terrace Food Service and Bar Servers

Candidates are welcome to attend both job fairs if they so choose.

All positions are game-day-only positions, requiring night and weekend commitments throughout the 2014 baseball season - approximately 15-20 days per month - April through September. Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends. Those people working on a game day need to be at the stadium approximately 11/2 or 2 hours before game time. Applicants must also be 16 years of age. A neat and clean appearance is required for Security Service Field employees at all times and first-rate customer service skills are a must for all positions.
