Spikes, Lion Country Kia Giving Fans Chance to Win New Kia at SpikesFest

(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - The State College Spikes and Lion Country Kia are teaming up to give fans the chance to "get LuCKy" at SpikesFest 2015 this coming Saturday. All fans aged 18 and over attending SpikesFest can enter to win an opportunity to play Plinko, with a grand prize of a brand new KIA.

Fans can sign up at the Lion Country Kia booth from the time the Penn State Indoor Multi-Sport Facility doors open for SpikesFest at 11:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m. At 12:30 p.m., one lucky entry will be drawn at random, and that fan will have the chance to play Plinko. If the contestant drops a Plinko disc in the "K," "I" and "A" slots at the bottom of the board in order, he or she will win a brand new KIA on the spot.

The Plinko contest at SpikesFest gives fans a sneak peek at how they can "get LuCKy" throughout the 2015 Spikes season. Every home game, fans can visit with LuCKy the Lion in the Lion Country Kia Korner, and then take a crack at Plinko on the concourse to win great prizes.

Plus, at each Saturday home game during the season, one lucky fan will have the chance to play Plinko and be a big winner thanks to Lion Country Kia. Every Saturday, another brand new KIA will be on the line if a contestant can drop Plinko discs in the "K," "I" and "A" slots in order.

In addition to the chance to win a new KIA, fans of all ages will enjoy a wide array of activities at SpikesFest, presented by Mount Nittany Health, 95.3 FM 3WZ and WTAJ, Your News Leader . Admission to the event is free, and parking will be available in Lot 44, next to the Multi-Sport Facility.

SpikesFest, the State College area's premier winter family activity, will bring the fun and excitement of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park indoors with a wide array of ballpark activities. SpikesFest 2015 will feature inflatable games, kids activities, video games, mascot appearances, performances by local entertainment groups, unique experiences, door prizes, and ticket specials.

The 2015 home schedule opens on Friday, June 19. The Spikes, the Class-A Short-Season affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and the defending New York-Penn League champions, will host 38 nights of fun, affordable family entertainment and future Major League Baseball stars through September 6.
