Hickory, NC - The Hickory Crawdads have released their 2015 Promotional Calendar, with the jam-packed schedule once again bringing celebrities, concerts, and giveaways to L.P. Frans Stadium this summer.
Highlights in this year's calendar include three celebrity appearances, with former Atlanta Braves Rookie of the Year and All-Star Bob Horner (May 30), WWE Hall-of-Famer Mick Foley (Aug. 1), and former Carolina Panthers star Mike Minter (Sept. 5). The Crawdads will also be expanding the popular Christian Concert to two separate dates, with 7eventh Time Down (May 9) and Colton Dixon (Aug. 15) each performing post-game concerts.
Theme nights are once again a major part of the 'Dads schedule, with a mixture of old favorites and exciting new nights including Captain Planet Night/Arbor Day Celebration (April 24), Dinosaur Day (June 12), Princesses & Pirates at the Park (June 26), Star Wars Night (July 31), Renaissance Night (Aug. 28), and the 4th annual Battle of the Bags competition (Sept. 3).
Finally, acts and giveaways will also be frequent attractions in 2015, including Madison Bumgarner T-Shirt Giveaway (April 11), the ZOOperstars! (June 13), the XPOGO Stunt Team (June 27), a Crawdads Lunch Cooler Giveaway, Birdzerk! (July 18), and the 'Dads Team Card Set Giveaway (Sept. 5). In total, the Crawdads Promotional Calendar includes 12 total firework shows, 9 separate giveaways, and three celebrity appearances all in one fun-filled summer.
"We've really got some fun and exciting promotions this season," said Crawdads Promotions Director Pete Subsara. "Aside from all of the great celebrity appearances and giveaways, there are a ton of fun theme nights and firework shows that we hope the fans will enjoy and participate in! I really think it will be our best year yet!"
The 'Dads have also released their 2015 Daily Promotions Calendar as well, which includes the brand new Kids Win Wednesday where all kids 12 and under receive a free ticket, free meal voucher, and free bounce house, speed pitch, and carousel voucher for every Wednesday night game. Also new for 2015 is Dollar Dog Tuesdays, where fans can bring their K9 companions to the ballpark for a $1 donation to the Banfield Pet Hospital Charitable Trust while also enjoying $1 hot dogs.
The two new daily promotions are joined by returning fan favorites in Buffalo Wild Wings Thirsty Thursday, Fireworks Friday, Church Bulletin Sunday, and Make-A-Difference Monday. Also returning for 2015 will be Kids Run the Bases following every home game, courtesy of The Sleep Shop.

The 'Dads begin their 2015 season with an exhibition game against Lenoir-Rhyne University on Tuesday, April 7 at L.P. Frans Stadium. The Crawdads will begin their South Atlantic League schedule on Thursday, April 9 when the team hosts the Hagerstown Suns.
