Anaheim Reassigns Goaltender Jason LaBarbera

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks reassigned goaltender Jason LaBarbera today to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

LaBarbera, 35, is 7-10-4 this season for Norfolk and carries two shutouts along with a 2.42 goals-against average (GAA) and .917 save percentage (SV%). Overall, the 1998 third round draft pick is 153-101-27 as a netminder in the AHL. He went 2-0-1 for the Ducks in five appearances this season with a 2.61 GAA and .909 SV%. In 187 career NHL games, LaBarbera notched a 62-73-20 record, six shutouts, a 2.85 GAA, and a .907 SV%. This season for Norfolk

Norfolk collides with the Providence Bruins for the first time since October tonight at Scope. The back-to-back versus Boston's AHL affiliate begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 7:15 p.m.
