Frederick Keys News Release

FREDERICK, M.D.-The Keys are excited to announce their tentative 2015 promotional schedule, and this year the team is pulling out all the stops. More than 20 fireworks nights, appearances by one of the world's most renowned entertainment stars and the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo highlight this year's offerings. Fans can also expect a host of fun giveaway items, as the Keys look to raise the bar on fun, family-affordable entertainment.

Headlining this year's calendar is an appearance by America's favorite game show host, Pat Sajak. The "Wheel of Fortune" host will help anchor "Game Show Night" on June 19. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans will receive a Sajak bobblehead presented by Randy Scritchfield.

For the first time since 2013, the Keys will do three bobblehead giveaways. As part of the club's "Christmas in July" celebration on July 25, fans can leave with a nice stocking stuffer. Former Keys All-Star and current Orioles closer Zach Britton receives his own bobblehead presented by Flying Dog Brewery. Then on August 22, Britton's teammate, Kevin Gausman, will be honored with a bobblehead courtesy of BayRunner Shuttle as part of "Salute to the Orioles" night. To avoid the gameday rush, fans can get their Gausman or Britton bobblehead NOW by purchasing ANY Keys ticket plan.

As usual fans will want to get tickets early for the "Cowboy Monkey Rodeo" on June 20 at 6:00 p.m. This one-of-a kind show features monkeys dressed as cowboys riding dogs like horses while herding sheep. Then on August 15, one of television's all-time hit shows will be saluted during "Seinfeld Night." To give the night some "flavor" culinary artist, Yev Kassem, aka "The Soup Nazi" will be on hand to greet fans.

Sajak and the Soup Nazi are only two of the exciting visitors who will stop by the Grove this year. Kicking off this "A-list" of guests is former Washington Capitals star, Dennis Maruk, who will be in town for "Hockey Day" on April 11. On July 12, wrestling legend Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat drops by to sign autographs and meet fans, while the stars of TruTV's "Lizard Lick Towing" will be on hand for "Fredneck Night" on August 21.

Back by popular demand, the Keys will be holding their second annual "Candy Drop" on April 26 as part of the "Halfway to Halloween" celebration. Following the 2 p.m. game against Wilmington, a helicopter will drop a shipment of candy snacks into the outfield grass as youngsters go "trick-or-treating."

The candy drop is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of events catered to young fans. July 10 will be "Minion Night" and will include a Kids Club event. Youngsters are also encouraged to attend Keyote's Superhero Birthday Party on August 1 and dads and their daughters can enjoy a Disney-themed "Daddy-Daughter Date Night" on August 16.

During the season, the Keys will do two jersey auctions and three hat auctions. Players will wear Superhero-themed jerseys on August 1 presented by The Living Legacy Foundation as well as an art-themed jersey on September 5 as part of the club's "Art in the Park" night. The Keys will wear special stars and stripes hats on July 3, purple caps sponsored by Heartly House on July 10 and pink caps for "Cancer Awareness Night" on August 14 presented by the American Cancer Society.

Other fun theme days not to miss include "Anchorman Night" on July 26 which will include a pre-game softball game featuring local media personalities. Maryland Pride Night will be on July 19 and will include a pre-game "Taste of Frederick" event with local restaurants. "Star Wars Day" on April 25 will include a pre-game picnic, light saber battles and an appearance by the Rebel Legion, and on May 16 the Keys will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of professional baseball in Frederick as part of "Salute to the Frederick Hustlers Night."

A full listing of weekly promotions can be found by visiting frederickkeys.com. Single game tickets go on sale April 3 at 10:00 a.m. and Mattress Warehouse Club specials will be released shortly.
