Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Collide with Rival Everblades Tonight in Estero, Florida

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays continue a three-game in three-day Florida road trip tonight as they visit the Florida Everblades at 7:30 at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida. Tonight is the ninth of 11 meetings between to the two East-Division rivals this season.
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays hold a 1-7-0-0 head-to-head record against the Everblades this season and look to end a six-game losing skid against their rivals. The two teams last met on January 28 in Estero, FL with the Everblades erasing an early Stingrays lead for a 4-1 victory. All time, the Stingrays sit 71-69-16 against the Everblades.
Gator on a Stick:
Forward Wayne Simpson leads the Stingrays against the Everblades with two goals and three assists for five points.
Two Close for Missiles, Switching to Guns:
Enter tonight's contest, the Stingrays (3rd place, 65 points) and Everblades (2nd place, 72 points) are separated by seven points in the East Division standings. The Stingrays are riding a season-high 11-game winning streak and have outscored opponents 48-15.

The Stingrays honor the men and women of the Armed Forces on Military Appreciation Night presented by APECS Aerospace Corporation, Precision Airparts Support Services, United Aeronautical Corporation, U.S. Technical and Heritage Pools on Saturday, March 14 at 7:05 p.m. at the Coliseum. WCW and WWE Champion Ric Flair will fire up the crowd as the Stingrays skate in special "Stars and Stripes" jerseys and auction them off after the contest.
