Wingnuts to Offer New Opportunity for Fundraising in 2015

WICHITA, KS (February 26, 2015) - Since the organization was founded more than eight years ago, the Wichita Wingnuts have made it their mission to help give back to the community. In an effort to strengthen that relationship, the Wingnuts are hoping that a variety of organizations will use them as a fundraising tool in 2015. With the new Wingnuts Ticket Fundraiser option, groups like non-profit charities, schools, athletic teams, and others can raise much needed funds by selling tickets to Wingnuts' games.
This fundraising opportunity involves selling upper box reserved tickets to watch Wingnuts' home games, and in return the Wingnuts will help raise funds for different organizations or causes. The upper box reserved section stretches from first base to third base with a large amount of seats located directly behind home plate. Organizations will be reimbursed based on the following scale:
Upper Box Reserved Tickets - Advanced Purchase Price $10.00
- 20-50 Upper Box Reserved Tickets Sold $3.00 reimbursement for every ticket sold.
- 51-100 Upper Box Reserved Tickets Sold $4.00 reimbursement for every ticket sold.
- 101+ Upper Box Reserved Tickets Sold $5.00 reimbursement for every ticket sold.
If an organization sells over 100 tickets they will have earned over $500 for their fundraiser. All inquiries can be directed to Ticket Sales and Community Relations Manager Robert Slaughter via e-mail at Robert@wichitawingnuts.com .
The eighth season of Wichita Wingnuts baseball begins on Thursday, May 21st in Joplin, with the home opener against the Winnipeg Goldeyes taking place on Tuesday, May 26th.
