Amarillo Bulls Alumni Update - Bulls Alumni Help Robert Morris Win Atlantic Hockey Conference

Robert Morris University clinched their first Atlantic Hockey Conference title with a 4-3 win over RIT. Greg Gibson scored twice for the Colonials, while John Rey had an assist. The next day Timmy Moore and Greg Gibson each scored and Brady Ferguson provided an assist as Robert Morris lost 4-3 to RIT.

It was all Amarillo Bulls Alumni that figured in the scoring during games between Bentley and Army. Tyler Deresky scored for Bentley, while Clint Carlisle replied for Army in a 1-1, overtime tie. Joe Kozlak assisted on Army's goal. Kozlak added another assist as the teams played to a 2-2 tie.

Cody Freeman had an assist as Canisius College doubled Mercyhurst 4-2. He picked up a second assist the next day as his team won 3-1.

TJ Sarcona had two goals and an assist as Niagara stopped Air Force 6-1. The next day Sarcona garnered another and so did Tyler Rostenkowski for Air Force as the teams tied 4-4.

Hampus Gustafsson scored for Merrimack but it wasn't enough as they lost 2-1 to Vermont.

In the latest NCAA Division III poll, Trinity College has moved to No. 2 in the nation behind Norwich. Wisconsin River-Falls and Milwaukee School Of Engineering are also in the top 15 in the country.

Tournament action is underway for most Division III schools. Milwaukee School of Engineering began their NCHA tournament with a 6-3 triumph over Marian. Gage Christensen and Omar Mullen each had an assist in that game. Despite falling 4-2 to Marian the next day, MSOE has advanced to the NCHA tournament semi-finals where they will play St. Norbert next.

St. Scholastica also moves on to the NCHA semi-finals after their split with Lake Forest. St. Scholastica has a date with the No. 3 ranked team in the nation Adrian. Derek Hills had a big weekend in tournament play notching a goal and an assist.

Trinity continues to roll as they blanked Weslayan 6-0 and the day prior won 4-1. Ryan Cole notched two goals and two assists for Trinity.

Kyle Gattelaro had an assist as Wisconsin River-Falls fell 3-2 to Wisconsin Eau-Claire.

The Amarillo Bulls make their first ever trip to Wenatchee to face the Wild at Town Toyota Center this weekend. Fans can tune into all of the action live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show on Saturday at 8:40 pm, and Sunday at 4:40 pm. Amarillo Bulls Hockey Presented By Westgate Mall follows at 9 pm and 5 pm, respectively.

Hockey's back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Mar. 6 and Saturday, Mar. 6 when it's the renewal of an great rivalry as the Bulls host the Topeka RoadRunners. It's Ronald McDonald House Weekend and the Bulls will wear special jerseys with a live auction to follow after Saturday's game. Liberty Tax sponsor's Saturday's game which is also Rampage's Birthday.
