Sioux Falls Storm News Release
Sioux Falls, SD - After a big win in their preseason game, the Sioux Falls Storm will face the Bemidji Axemen in the first regular season game.
Last season, Bemidji finished with a 5-9 record. While ranking first in passing yards and third down conversions, the Storm's thunder defense looks to stop the fast-paced offense. The Axemen are excited to get a shot at knocking off the reigning champs in their first game of the year.
Three players that cannot wait to hit the field for the Axemen are returning wide receiver Ryan Balentine, running back DeMario Pippen and kicker Zach Pulkinen.
The Sioux Falls Storm have numerous returning players including Martevious Young, James Terry, Parker Douglass, Charlie Sanders, Lorenzo Brown, Tyler "Superman" Knight and many others.
The Storm will travel to Minnesota on Saturday to take on the Axemen. They will continue the season on the road in Cedar Rapids on March 7th.
