THIS PAST WEEK:
About Wednesday Night vs. Evansville: Some late game offense and a 15-save shutout performance by Sam Brittain led the Cyclones past the IceMen by a 2-0 final score in front of 1,853 at U.S. Bank Arena. It was the third consecutive meeting between the clubs that Cincinnati didn't allow a goal and its sixth shutout of the season overall.
About Friday Night in Toledo: A pair of second period goals and a strong night for Jeff Lerg proved to be enough as the Walleye defeated the Cyclones by a 3-1 final score in front of 5,536 at Huntington Center. David Pacan netted Cincinnati's lone tally in the final minutes of the contest.
About Saturday Night vs. Reading: The Royals pulled out in front in the second period and never looked back as they defeated the Cyclones by a 4-1 final score in front of 6,994 at U.S. Bank Arena. Branden Gracel notched the only Cyclones goal for his 11th lamplighter of the season.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
The Calm Before the Storm: The Cyclones will play their next five games away from U.S. Bank Arena. However, this week will be one of their lightest of the season, with just a Saturday night trip to Evansville on the docket over the next seven days. The two North Division foes will square off at the Ford Center at 8:15pm ET. Fans can watch all the Cyclones road action at Game Time Sports Bar and Grill in Cheviot!
Remarkable Rookie: The Cyclones have enjoyed great goaltending stability from Sam Brittain. The University of Denver standout ranks second among active rookie goaltenders with a 2.71 goals-against average and an 89.5% save percentage. This season for the Cyclones, Brittain has compiled a 14-11-0-1 record.
