Colorado Mammoth News Release
EDMONTON, ALBERTA - In a game of West Division leaders, the Colorado Mammoth (3-3) offense sputtered at Rexall Place in Edmonton as the team fell to the Edmonton Rush (4-2), 13-7, on Sunday afternoon.
John Grant Jr. had a hat trick and Adam Jones scored twice. Sean Pollock had a fourth-quarter tally. Defenseman Creighton Reid's fifth goal of the year extended his career-high for scores in a season.
In the weekend home-and-home with Edmonton, Colorado's league-leading offense struggled against the NLL's best defense.
The Mammoth continues its three-game road-trip next Sun., February 22 at 11am MT against the New England Black Wolves at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
