After a tough 2-1 loss to Lethbridge the night prior, the Rebels look to claw their way back into the win column versus the Prince George Cougars.

SECOND PERIOD

Prince George tied the game early in the middle frame as Kody McDonald tipped home a Josh Anderson point shot at 4:14 to make it 1-1.

The Cougars took their first lead of the game at 16:46 when a wide open Zach Pochiro fired home his 13th of the year. The St. Louis Blues prospect put Prince George ahead 2-1.

THIRD PERIOD

Brooks Maxwell, playing in his 240th WHL game, got the Rebels back on even terms with his 17th goal of the year. Maxwell's goal, set up by Josh Mahura and Presten Kopeck, came on a Rebels powerplay to make it a 2-2 game at 2:54.

OVERTIME

Mere seconds after a penalty to Presten Kopeck had expired, Chase Witala blasted home a one-time for the game winner for the Cougars. Pochiro and Jansen Harkins set up Witala's 28th goal of the year. Prince Cougars escaped with a 3-2 win.
