Seven Sea Dogs Remain on February's "Craig's List"

SAINT JOHN - Seven Saint John Sea Dogs remain listed as potential selections in the 2015 National Hockey League Draft in the February edition of "Craig's List," released this week by TSN's Director of Scouting, Craig Button.

The former NHL general manager has updated his collection of top 100 prospects, and the list includes two defencemen and five forwards from the Sea Dogs. All were on Button's list from December.

Blueliner Thomas Chabot, 18, is the top-ranked Sea Dog at 22nd.

The Ste-Marie-de-Beauce, Quebec, native is in his second season with the Sea Dogs. He leads all Saint John defencemen with nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points in 51 games this season. He sits tied for 16th in scoring among blueliners in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Fellow rearguard Jakub Zboril is right behind Chabot in 23rd.

The 17-year-old from Brno, Czech Republic, has eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points in 33 games.

Centre Nathan Noel is ranked 59th.

The St. John's-native is in his second season with the Sea Dogs. The 17-year-old leads the Sea Dogs in points scoring with 19 goals and 28 assists for 47 points in 53 games.

Winger Adam Marsh, 17, is listed 64th.

The Chicago, Illinois, product leads the Sea Dogs with 21 goals and is third in points with 39 in 51 games. He is eighth in rookie scoring in the QMJHL.

Forward Spencer Smallman, 18, is positioned 80th on the list.

In his third season with Saint John, the Fredericton-native has 18 goals 42 points in 52 games. He also sports an impressive +20 rating.

Centre Samuel Dove-McFalls is ranked 92nd.

The 17-year-old Montreal-native has 12 goals and 26 points in 51 games in his second season with Saint John.

Winger Mathieu Joseph is listed 94th.

The Chambly, Quebec, product is in his second season with the Sea Dogs. He has 14 goals and 31 points in 44 games.

The 2015 NHL Draft will be held June 26-27 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
