The Danbury Whalers are home today, Sunday, February 8th @ 5 PM, vs. the New England rival-Battalion. This is the Battalion final trip of the season to the Danbury Ice Arena. The Whalers are battling for playoff position and trying to hold off Berkshire.
Sunday is Skate with the Whalers - After the game, fans will have a chance to skate with their favorite Danbury Whalers players.
This weekend will also feature groups on the Whalers fundraising program. Sunday is Danbury Pal Softball, Northwestern Youth Hockey Assoc., Brewster Varsity Cheer, Westside Middle School Academy. If you would like to have your organization participate in the Danbury Whalers fundraising program, contact Tricia Coe at tcoe@thedanburywhalers.com
Be sure to eat at Two Steps Downtown Grille before the game. Try the Big Juicy Danbury Whalers Burger - It's fantastic.
At the game be sure stop down to the Penalty Box Lounge at the Danbury Ice Arena for the pre-game show and get yourself a pulled pork sandwich from The Cookhouse. Voted CT's best BBQ 18 straight years.
